Providing aid to others

Our foundation stands for helping the underprivileged. Over the years, We Foundation has helped provide relief to those in need, especially in times of distress. In 2013, when a cloud burst in Uttarakhand led to devastating floods in the region, our organisation took the responsibility of distributing solar lamps, tarpaulin and blankets to many whose homes were broken down due to the natural calamity.

After Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar started the ‘Haryana Kanya Kosh’ fund in 2015, our NGO donated some amount towards the educational and nutritional development of girls. A donation of Rs 50,000 was also made to an NGO in Himachal Pradesh that works for children who have cerebral palsy.

In 2018, we also conducted a sanitary napkin distribution drive at a slum dwelling in Vasant Kunj area of New Delhi. Apart from distribution, our volunteers also held discussions with the women about the importance of proper hygiene and sanitation and why cloth is not a good substitute to sanitary napkins. The same year, when Kerala was hit with colossal floods, our organisation donated to the relief fund.

In 2020, we also made donations to the Odisha relief fund, which was set up by the state government to overcome the impact of Amphan cyclone. An amount of Rs 1 lakh was also donated to the PM Care fund, set up by the central government to tackle the effects of COVID-19 on our country and its citizens. During the lockdown period, we also took the responsibility of getting food made and then distributing it amongst the migrant labour, that took to the roads to reach their hometowns.
